How you help at the bookshop
I volunteer on Sundays at the bookshop.

Favourite Author (and why!)
Kingsley Amis because he reminds me of my dad, he makes me laugh. I just love his turn of phrase! Oddly I can relate to him though nowadays he’s considered misogynistic, sexist and seems to be hated by a lot of women on Goodreads. Though some say he likes women and is trying to understand them in his writing.

Favourite Book (and why!)
I really enjoyed The Green Man by Amis it was so well written and different. A ghost story but with Amis usual oddities and obsessions. It seems to be about him and he’s not kind to himself, he knows his short comings very well.
